Hi,

I am looking for a good gaming monitor for crossfire 6850s, intel i5 2500k OC and p8p67 pro mobo. I wanted the ASUS VW266H
which is here, http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5371370 , but I can't find them in stock ANYWHERE. I have been trying to track one down for a while now and no luck. So at TigerDirect they have I-Inc iH-282HPB, which seems similar to the ASUS, but I am not sure how to judge color ratio and all that jazz. I know 2ms is better than 3ms, but not enough to make a noticeable difference.

Here is the I-Inc iH-282HPB....

The I-Inc iH-282HPB has good ratings on the website, but you can never trust Tiger direct reviews. Anyway, the hinge on the monitor seems kind of flimsy too. What do you experts think?

Thanks a lot,

Ryan

Hanns-G, Samsung would be good brands to try. Don't go by monitor specs alone, find some reviews of them. Contrast, refresh rate, brightness numbers really don't mean too much just as numbers. They are very rarely measured the same way across the manufacturers and don't tell you how the thing looks as a whole. It would be like buying a car just because it has a certain engine and tire size.
