Is this monitor good?

Is the BenQ EW2440L a good monitor for gaming. I'm not bothered about 144hz and am not really willing to spend the extra 100 for it. I would rather have a monitor that has a better image. This one looks good has it has a 3000:1 to contrast ratio and 20M:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Will this monitor look and be good for gaming?

its an nice overall monitor . VA type panel, flicker free with great color reproduction and contrast . it will work for you
