No, it's not overkill. It's one of the cheaper ASUS X570 boards. Should be adequate. Good PSU and RAM.

It is a good board that allows you to upgrade your Ryzen line CPU in the future which is a big plus. No problem at all I think, but why not a 3600 cpu , it costs a bit more but it would be a nice step up from the 2600 and would do your requirements for years.
