Is this motherboard compatable with this CPU?

Here is the motherboard :
Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

The CPU:
Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

On PC part picker it says no compatibility issues but in the item description on Newegg it only lists "Core i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium / Celeron (LGA1150)" as compatible cpu's.

Always try to check the motherbd manufacturers site for their cpu compatibility list. It has no issues as you will see.

That motherboard supports only Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory. No ECC Memory is supported.
