Is this motherboard good for i7-4790k and SLI GTX 970

I want to build a PC with a i7-4790k and 2 GTX 970's. Is this a good enough motherboard or would you recommend another one?

The ASUS Z97-A, is a good MB. That's the one I'd go with. Probably more reliable than a MSI board.

I was going with 2 of these graphics cards. Would it not run better because they are both MSI? or should i just stick to the Asus?

It shouldn't matter what manufacturer MB. As long as you have the needed PCIe slots, you are good.

Do you know of any other motherboards that fit my needs and are cheaper? I don't mind buying the Asus Z97-A now but i was wondering if there was a cheaper option. Also thank you for replying so quick and helping me out!
