Hi,
I'm looking to build a firewall machine that will run pfSense. I already have an enclosure available. I plan to buy 2 cards like this:
Intel Server Adaptor I350-T4 4-Port Quad-Port
The bus type of this card is PCI Express 2.1 (5 GT/s). It uses 4-lane PCI Express (so x4).
I was considering this motherboard:
ASUS ATX Prime 365B PLUS
In the manual, I read:
PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 slots: This motherboard supports two PCI Express 3.0/2.0 x16 graphic cards that comply with the PCI Express specifications.
If I connect 2 I350-T4 cards on the motherboard, will they both run at 4x? I guess so but I'm not familiar with pcie so I would appreciate if anyone can confirm.
Thanks in advance!
