Not bought a motherboard since my build in 2011 so looking for a little advise on if people think the MSI Z370 SLI PLUS is suitable for my new build with a Intel Core i7 8700k? I will be mainly gaming, video editing, photography and general use.

I may plan to do buy another Gigabyte RX580 8GB and do the AMD Crossfire in the future and wanted to check if this is suitable?? As I remember years ago when i got my other motherboard I was told to check weather it did 8x or 16x for crossfire, cant remember why tho. Do i still need to look at this (not sure what the term was) ?

Also whys is a SLI Plus and no Crossfire?

This motherboard is compatible with the i7 8700k and this mobo supports crossfire AND sli (SLI means that you can use 2 or 3 nvidia cards)
