Hey guys!

Sorry in advance, I'm really not a hardware guru and my english is a bit broken

I have an ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080Ti GPU and almost everytime I play a game (which I often do since I use my PC mainly for gaming and work) my GPU usage is between 95-100% and around 75-80°C (I use MSI Afterburner). My question is kinda dumb, but simple: is this normal when it comes to GPU-s? Even when I'm playing with older games (true, I don't use vsync and my framrates are way over 200+)? It never goes over 80-81°C but it worries me a bit - although I don't know if this temperature is ideal (also, I'm NOT overclocking anything) - my CPU usage and temperature are way lower than this.

Tl;dr: my 1080Ti's usage is 95-100% with 75-82°C most of the time when I'm gaming, without overclocking. Is this normal?

Solution
So your CPU usage during a game will always be low. Most games do not use much CPU at all. As far as your GPU is concerned, the temperatures are high, but in what some would say are a normal range at max load. If it hits 90+ then I’d worry, but 75-80 is a pretty normal temperature. As far as the GPU hitting 100%, again that’s normal while playing games. Your GPU is doing most of the work when playing.

Normal for your use case.
That model has a thermal throttle limit of 84C, with a max of 90C - it'll shut off on you.
I don't see a problem at the moment... then again, mine doesn't see over 65C, unless I run the fans below 60% or something.
