Is this normal for Memtest?

I've been having some BSOD issues, trying to narrow down the cause.

Currently running Memtest off a bootable USB drive. It's 10 and 1/2 hours in and, unless I am reading this wrong, it's only 91% done of pass 1 of 4. Been on test 13 [Hammer test] for the last few hours.

Is this normal? Is running Memtest typically a 40+ hour affair?

If you are running memtest with all your ram sticks installed (and you have a lot of memory), yes. It will take a long time. But that is not how you should run memtest. You won't know which stick is bad if it finds any errors. You should run memtest on each stick individually.

I runned memtest a year ago, and i found 24 errors on my 8gb ram! Holy smoke! Thats why my pc keep freezing sometimes because of ram.
