Hey, so about a month ago I bought a 144hz monitor. I was very disappointed when I saw that there was no 144hz option to be seen. I have a gt 1030 2 gb, is it because the gpu just isnt good enough for the monitor? It plays games like minecraft over 144 fps. I connected it with a dual link dvi plugin, which came with the monitor (and should be capable of 144hz). I look at windows settings, nvidia settings, and nothing. It's just at 60hz. If anyone could help me that would be amazing. (I also have a new PC with a rx 570 coming soon, so this isnt a huge deal. But I would still like to know why.)

MONITOR: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL...1880&s=gateway&sprefix=acer+gn,aps,172&sr=8-1

thanks

Do you have a pic of the DVI cable you're using / the one that came with it?
It'll need to be Dual Link DVI to support 144Hz.

In the Nvidia control panel, are you ensuring there's no option under "PC" resolutions, opposed to just "resolution"?
Heres the pictures of the DVI that it came with:

And yes, even under the "change resolution" tab in the nvidia control panel under "PC" my only option is 60hz. Look at the image down below.
