I've recently gotten into overclocking my new GTX 970, and was wondering if power limit at 120, temp limit at 85 Degrees Celsius, core clock at +130, memory clock at +80, and fans at auto is safe (I used MSI Afterburner to OC). If yes, what could I change to get more performance?

My Specs:
Asus Strix GTX 970
I5-4690k
Asus Z97-A Mobo
8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 RAM

you can clock the memory up to +400 on most gtx 970s.

Overclocking differs very greatly from card to card. The overclock itself does 0 damage to your gpu, but the heat will damage your gpu. just make sure that it doesnt go over 80 on load. Higher than that can actually be ok but it is better to be safe and not lower the lifespan of your card.

Just keep overclocking it at +15mhz at a time and run a test like 3dmark and see if there is any artifacting or display driver crashing, if so then your clock is unstable. This will not damage your card

I have my gigabyte gtx 970 clocked at 1554mhz and +500 on the memory. I do have the core voltage at +25mv but this should be a safe clock
