Is this okay for a new graphics card?

So yesterday I upgraded my computer for the first time and put in a brand new 1070. I was nervous doing it myself but everything is working well and functional. The only thing is the card seems to as some say "sag". Although I can assure the pci-e slot is aligned with the card well, the back of the card where all of the ports are seem to be crooked and hanging a bit. Being that it's functional is this something I should worry about, and if so what can I do to fix it.

Did you screw it into the PCI slots on the case?

They all do that, as long as its securely in the slot and the 2 screws to hold the slot are in youare fine.

How this is prevented, generally only cards with a back plate prevent it somewhat, but what some folks do is use a bit of fishing line to tie it to the top of the case.

Depending on the card, some sag is to be expected. That is why large GPUs now generally have backplates to stiffen the card. If yours doesn't have one, there are aftermarket and some OEM available backplates.

There are also a few adjustable 'legs' products out there designed to prop up a GPU. A common home solution is to use wire or string to hold the card up.

Another way to counteract sag is to actually slightly misalign the motherboard in the opposite direction. Only really recommend that for intermittent connectivity issues though.
