Definitely okay for gaming. Though you will struggle to get 60FPS on 1080p at high settings for most AAA games. Though it will game nonetheless.

If all you do is game, I'd suggest maybe taking a cheaper processor, and a better graphics card, but even this is a very competent entry gaming machine.

It can play any game with no problem, just need to measure your expectations to 1080p and medium-high.
