Is this okay for my first PC build?

Hello everyone, I'm joining the PC Master Race cause consoles suck lol so I was wondering if this is good for my first build I have a budget of $500 but willing to go over a little bit So here is my PC http://pcpartpicker.com/list/2pbM8K thanks for helping me join the PC master race! Btw I dont need a hard drive I can use one from my old PC its not old its new.

It is exactly as you called it - OK
Here are few points to think about:
1. If you wait a week or two, you will be able to get much better video card for that price.
2. if you go intel, it will cost you ~70$ more for the i5 build that will be considerably faster and will last much longer without a need to upgrade.
Ultimately with ~ 150-200$ to the current price, you can have an overclockable platform that will serve you at least 4-5 years in terms of performance. May be with a GPU upgrade in a couple of years.
The system you picked will be sufficient for the 1080p gaming at med-high settings for year or two at most with very high upgrade cost.

Yes, intel i5 instead of AMD FX.
And GTX 1050 or RX 470 as a GPU.

Invest in a good graphics card and power supply and you're golden. Maybe a SSD too.

This is what i would do.
I'd buy a power supply (60-80$), and a video card like GTX 1060 (250-300$) which will be released this week.
Than I'd put them into your existing system. You still have 120-190$ left. You can either keep them for the next upgrade or buy an SSD.
I'd also add a computer case, but I'm not sure if this dell MB has standard mounting points, so skip it.
With the above, you can play any game maxed out on 1080p monitor for at least a year. At some point after that, the CPU will become too slow.
And all you will need to do, is to pick a new CPU+MB+Memory+Case. That will cost you 300-400$ and will serve you 4-5 or more years.

From what I heard, the Intel i5 Is faster, but not as noticeably as one might think. It is debatable whether or not it is worth the extra 30-40 dollars.

That's why there is no point to upgrade i5 to FX-6300 and adding PSU and GPU are better ideas and that was done
