hi guys,
i am planning for a new gaming and a little video editing build
so this is wat i am planning but lil confusions

Processor: Intel i7 4770k or intel i5 4670k (confused)
Motherboard: Asrock z87 extreme4
Cpu cooler: corsair h100i
Ram: Corsair venegance 8gb
Case: CM sotrm scout 2
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 or 770 (confused)
PSU: corsair tx 750
SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120 GB
Hard Drive: WD Black 1gb

I want to play Black ops 2, cod ghosts ,bf3 and 4 , crysis 3 and upcomming games at high or very settings and i wanna also record my gameplay using fraps so there shouldn't be any lag.. and i wanna learn some video editing...

There's no such thing as "future proof". The closest you can come is to build the most powerful computer you can afford. Personally, I would stay away from Asrock. Have a look at ASUS. For video edition I would recommend more storage. Either a bigger HDD or more of them. The 120GB SSD is a little smalllish for what you want. Also, The PSU is on the small side of what I would use. I never load any PSU beyond 50% of rated capacity and I MUCH prefer Seasonic.

well i am not gonna be pro video editor i just wanna learn some little things thats it so for that 120gb ssd in enough, hdd i could expand if necessary

I tried to get as close as I could to $2000, but I think that going any higher than this won't be worth it. Maybe get a bigger HDD if you feel like you'll need it... but that's about it.

Well there's no such thing as future proofing. You can't predict how a system is going to handle a game five years from now, or what hardware trends will bring five years from now. If you post what country and store you are buying from that will help to better recommend parts that are more available where you live. if you don't know of one check the sticky at the top of this forum.
