What i was thinking of doing to it was configuring it to have a gtx 1060 3gb, the better cooler and 16gb ram, will this perform well or are the far better options. Im new to this lol

AMD processors are old and outdated now by a couple of generations. This is a far better build for that price.

Looks better, but the psu is not so good. Pre build pcs are almost always higher priced with relatively cheaper parts to keep a profit margin. You can always build a better quality rig around the same price range. For example if i take the budget of this one, this is what you can get. All good parts.
