Is This PC any good?

I would say it looks really good. But I would go for a latest generation card than going for old 680, it's a really beast card but it doesn't fully support(i think) directx 11.2. And I believe that's the only reason your friend is getting windows 8.1 (lol). I would say wait a little bit for amd's mantle, because it really is gonna give a lot of boost the performance of cards in gaming.(I believe)
