My friend is looking at building his first PC, these are the components he wants to buy http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RFHDsY

He plans on playing the latest games and wants to make videos for YouTube, so would also use the PC for light editing work.

I just wondered if it's any good. Are there any components he should change? Or anything he could change to save money or to got more performance for the same price?

Solution
My build has-

Same cpu for $33 cheaper
Equal RAM for $7 cheaper
Better video card for $15 cheaper
MUCH better psu for $23 cheaper

Overall, it's just a much cheaper, better, and more reliable build.
