What resolution and hz are you going to be gaming at?

I would say for spending 1.4k buying a better GPU would be a good idea. 1660ti is a very good gpu, but with a budget that big more should go towards the gpu. 2060,2070,1080,1080ti, or vega64. Some compromises would have to be made from some assortment of mobo, ram, fans, and storage. Really depends on if you value performance or aesthetics.

as it is though it would still be a very capable build for quite some time.

Spend less on mobo.

Cryorig H5 Ultimate = $55ish

2x8GB DDR4-3000 costs $75-$85.

Instead of the Intel 660p, look at the XPG SX8200 Pro, HP EX950, or Corsair MP510. They're usually around $140/TB on sale.

That's an INSANE amount of money to spend on case fans. Good 140mm case fans cost about $15 each, and you only need to buy 2 more since your case choice comes with 2. Is RGB- everything really that important to you?

650W PSU would suffice for your component list. They're around $65.

That'd save you around $140 by my estimation, while actually improving performance (better SSD). I'd recommend putting some of that money toward a case with an actual glass side panel (many choices at the same price actually).

This should be better? I think I'll stick with the SSD though. It's already pretty fast...
