Also my budget is $1200 CND.

And he didn't put a cooler in the parts, I am pretty sure that's a problem. Is this true?

Honestly...for the price...this is a 10/10. I tried to find something better for similar price..not happening. That build is excellent and you should go for it.

the CPU comes with a cooler. that kingston SSD is a bit slower than its mushkin counterpart at the same price (newegg.ca)

Ok thanks for clarifying, also I will talk to my friend about the Video card, but its $20 more since shipping and handling so I am not sure if its worth it

If you are playing 1080p 60Hz gaming then a 970 is more than enough. The 1060 is good but it isn't necessary. Here is a really good 970 at a better price:

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card ($329.99 @ NCIX)

EDIT. Not sure why the pcpartpicker price is different from NCIX site price. Also, lots of GPUs aren't listed on pcparticker canada. weird.

1060 for a tiny bit more is worth it. Imo. Good build though!
