I want to build a mid rang PC that can surf the web and play some games and i want to be cheap. I know the hardware is a tad old but i don't care for I'm not a hardcore gamer. heres the link to my build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3rxy23 . also i almost forgot did i make a good decision for the video card thanks for reading this and helping me.

i would recommend getting an i3 and a motherboard that supports 1150 instead of 775, that way you can upgrade easily in the future, also with and i3 you can leave that cooler behind because the stock will probably perform better. The CX series are no that great but http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-xfxts550w is about the same price i think, and is a higher quality component. As for the video card, I would just spend the extra $10-$20 and get a r7 260x or 750ti. Hope I helped

I know. I didn't know what to get I just would like something cheap and I can upgrade in the future and is Linux compatible and can run compiz effects if it's in my budget
