Hello. Is this pc build good? By "good" i mean, is everything compatible? Are the components good enough? I want to mention that im not really interested in quality as for performance(during games).
So is it good? Thats definetely the CPU i want. The others are ok with it?

[the HDD is missing because i already have one]

Solution
IF you do not have the money, this is all pointless as everything will be different by the time you do. Forget it. Come back 2 weeks prior to buying.

Buying one part at a time is a REALLY bad idea. Don't bother. Just save all the money and buy at one time.
No.

The CPU is not good. It is meant for use with no GPU. A MUCH better option for the same price would be na i3 4160 and an h97 mothebroard. MUCH better for games. Also drop the CPU cooler. Not needed for the i3.

The PSU is crap and will probably damage/destroy the computer. This is the single most important part of the PC. Change for Antec, XFX, Seasonic.

Consider something more like the build below...

Looks good for its price, but cant i buy just 1x4GB ram ? Also do u know a Quad-Core CPU that would work?... Im really looking into a QuadCore.

;_; its so complicated to build a pc. Why a dual core tho? isnt better a quad core? ...

you're saying there's not that much of a difference between a quad-core and a dual core?

No I am saying that an i3 (dual core intel) is BETTER than an AMD APU quad core. This is just the facts.

You have to look at the same brand to compare number of cores. For example an i3 beats an fx6300 (6-core). But an i3 loses to an i5 (4-core).

When looking at number of cores you can only do so when comparing CPUs form the same company.

is sadams04's build good? Everything's compatible? The thing is i cant find the exact components(i meant this only for cases, power supplies and memories maybe) I also have an HDD so it isnt really that much of a problem.

You can drop the motherboard down a notch easily but I thought that this gives a nice upgrade up to an overclockable i5 or i7.

If anyone saw thew other build I noticed a couple mistakes like the psu before the edit.

Wrong link. YOu must copy the permalink. this link only shows what each of us have in our own PCpartpicker list.

you got the wrong link. It says somewhere "permalink"

how do i know its a good or bad PSU ?

It depends on what you do but the core strength on intel is just flat out better and games only take advantage of 2-4 cores (plus a few exceptions) and so with the hypertheading the i3 is able to outperform the fx 6300 pretty easily in games, it's only in multi tasking like streaming and editing and rendering that the 6 cores will help.

im not very familiar with the content. But if u say that one is good, then i cant say anything in contrary.
Can you spare a lil bit more time and tell me which of these motherboards to pick please? they have the same name but are kinda other editions:

If you want to do a budget AMD build, this would be a much better option for your budget.

For gaming, at stock, performance would be on par with a high end i3 or low end i5 like the 4440. Overclocked it will be just slightly faster , but not by much.

For apps/office work it will be around the same. Some apps are better optimized for Intel, others like video encoding that use all 6 cores will run better on the AMD. It's a toss-up really based on what you will be running.

I hate that i cant find specifically everything on my country. Shipping cost for other countries would be hell of a lot.
One of the good websites from my country would be this : http://www.cel.ro (it has the cheapest products so far)

I agree totally, never get psu's that come with pc's and the fx 6300 is just not worth it at the moment.

I agree with the FX 6300 build, it's a solid chip from AMD. I've built a few budget rigs for friends with this as the centerpiece. Plays modern games no sweat, and can be easily overclocked. For the price, you can't really do better.
