Recently I've been looking for a "gaming" pc that i can move some of my current stuff into (i.e. Gtx 760) Now i found a pc on craigslist for $250 which is quite a steal since the motherboard is worth around $200 itself. The specs are:- Cooler Master Mini Tower Elite 361 Case
- Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (Windows 10 Free Upgrade Ready)
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Pre-Installed (Contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, Infopath, OneNote, SharePoint Workspace)
- Antivirus Software Pre-Installed
- ASUS P8Z68-V LX Motherboard
- Intel Core i5-3450 Quad Core 3.10GHz CPU Processor
- 500GB Hard Drive
- 4 GB RAM
- CD-RW DVD-RW Multi Recorder Drive
- 2 USB 3.0 Ports
- 6 USB 2.0 Ports
- Gigabit Ethernet LAN Port
- HDMI Out
- VGA Out
- DVI Out
- SPDIF Audio Out
- 6-Channel Surround Sound Audio Output
- Speaker/Headphone Front Panel Ports
- Microphone Ports
- Line In/Out Audio Ports
- PS/2 Mouse Keyboard Port
- AC Power Cable Included

What do you think of this pc? Is it worth it? If i get this i'm probably going to do a fresh install of windows just go get rid of all the programs that i dont need and can install myself. I might also give it some extra ram, and add my 1TB HDD, 500GB HDD and a 120GB SSD, also put a gtx 760 what do you think? Is it good enough for gaming on?

Solution
Good deal, but has potential to be fishy.
However I wouldn't be surprised if it was a legitimate deal due to the fact that the processor is now around 4 years old.
The software sounds dodgy though, especially with Windows, seeing as it may well be that it is not valid having been 5 years old.
The i5 3450 may sell for $200, but it is not worth that much in reality dexxterlab97. It is more worth something in the $150 range.

Ignore all the buzzwords and io listings and you get this:
- Antivirus
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Windows 10
- ASUS P8Z68-V LX Motherboard
- Intel Core i5-3450 Quad Core 3.10GHz CPU Processor
- 500GB Hard Drive
- 4 GB RAM
- CD-RW DVD-RW Multi Recorder Drive
- Cooler Master Mini Tower Elite 361 Case
Sounds perfectly...

Sounds perfectly reasonable if I was in his position. Contact him and go take a look at the PC.
EDIT: Honestly i'd go for $200, the software is a compromise, and the parts are aging, and going down in value. Should be an easy discount.

Its a 5 year old system.
The OS and Office aren't valid.

Offer $175, compromise on $200.
Do a full wipe and reinstall of your OS, with known clean install media and a valid license key.

i've sold and bought some choice gear on craigslist for rock bottom prices. Some people just want to get crap out the door so it's not taking up space or they have no idea what they have. But a word of caution. make sure everything boots and is working before throwing down any cash. For every good deal on CL there are some very bad ones.

What the hell world are you living in?
You can't even get an i3 CPU motherboard and ram for that price, let alone case, PSU, graphics card.
Can't be a killer PC with that garbage APU.

killer pc... killing all your components in one boot.... 1080p all low...

Sounds like one of those kids that comes from console and goes "Console is *! PC is so much better, kill ur console for xxxx amount of money! PC master race guiz!"

or some that say human eyes can not see more than 30fps.... im fine with my integrated intel running cs 1.6

some say yes but i can tell you i can see the difference between 60fps, 90fps and 120fps and more when the panel is capable.
http://www.100fps.com/how_many_frames_can_humans_see.htm says 100 maybe more
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frame_rate says between 50 and 90 fps

like i said depends on the person
