is this pc good enough

Gtx 560 ti 1280mb 448 cuda cores limited edition
550watt hkc psu
4 gb ddr2 ram

Is this cpu good enough to play some modern games ?
And my psu is good or not?
Im thinking to get fx 6300 proc and swap 4gb ram ddr2 to ddr3 1333 mhz
But will these*new* stuffs if i upgrade can be handled by.my current psu?

The cpu and gpu are fair. The 4gb ddr2 ram could present problems.

That psu will be very bad quality. I hope it doesn't make a fire!

Hi

Since you also need a new motherboard for AMD CPU you might as well start again from scratch
(all new components or buy a new ready built base unit)

If just upgrading GPU consider the case and old PSU likely full of fluff & dust and needs a clean out with compressed air or PSU replacing.

What operating system ?
if still XP (or 32 bit Windows) no point increasing RAM above 4GB

What screen resolution ?
if relatively low resolution you will be able to run some modern games at acceptable speed with low detail settings

I got windows 7 64 bit and i dont have dirty dust inside the cache at all
Screen resolution is 1680x1050 i think ik its x1050 for sure
I might just go and buy a cheap mobo fx support and fx 6300 + 4x2 ram ddr3 or just use my single 4gb stick 1333 mhz that i got

I head that my gtx 560ti 448 cuda cores is really good and its equal to performance of gtx 570

i run league with my current build at from 60-195 fps No problem on max settings but since i got 60 hz monitor i off vertical sync 😛

The 560ti is about 3/4 the performance of a gtx570. But less than a gtx750ti.

You should answer some of the questions being asked if you want advice.

Its still just a gtx 560ti. Not a GTX670 or R9 280x. Its a GTX560ti.

its not just a gtx 560 ti man just google and check..It has in it the CHIP that is used on 570 and 580 and not the chip of the 560 and ti version its like 5% or less performance diffference between the 560 ti classified edition adn the gtx 570 😉
Btw 570 vs 750 ti Whichs better ?

The 750 ti has 3642 points and the gtx 570 ( because there isnt any gtx 560ti classified edition listed in that chart and that there is many things in common that these 2 cards have ) has 4376 points
