I'm getting a new PC, I'll buy an Intel Core i5 4460, Asus Geforce GTX 1060 DUAL, not the strix version, an MSI H81 M-P33, I already have 8GB of 1333MHz RAM, should I get 16GB of 1600MHz RAM or am I good for now with 1333 8GB? Also a CoolerMaster Hyper 212X cooler for my CPU, I have a 500GB HDD which is enough for me for now, Sharkoon VG5 V case and Fortron Hyper 700W PSU. I'm wondering is 8 GB enough or should I upgrade to 16? And will this PC do me good on a 24" 1920x1080p monitor for games like Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, World of Tanks, League of Legends, GTA 5 etc. I want to play in high or ultra settings. Will it be possible to run these games smoothly and some other ones but less demanding like Dirt : Rally and stuff.

There are many Z170 boards, this is just one of the cheapest ones, but Asrock makes decent boards for good price/performance rate. Since...
Yes, but why not go for an i5-6500 and put yourself on the latest socket? If you already had an LGA1150 motherboard then upgrading to an i5-4460 could make sense, but this is a completely new build. If the 6500 is unaffordable then go for an i3-6100 instead.

Upgrading to 16GB RAM isn't necessary for gaming, at least not yet.

You don't need the 212X for a CPU that can't be overclocked.

I'd seriously consider replacing the PSU. It's a cheap and nasty piece of crap and you really don't want it to power your expensive gaming PC. The PSU tier list will show you what to go for; www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html.

You should also consider an SSD, even a cheap one like a Kingston SSDNow.

I can't say I agree on the PSU, FSP makes excellent PSU's, the hyper series are more budget oriented for sure, but of decent quality, good for non-overclocking builds.

If I have enough money for the 6500 I'll get it, because it's a bit expensive because of the need of DDR4 and a new motherboard. Thank you for telling me about the PSU, not my strongest suit, but will the 212x be enough to cool the i5 6500 when and if I OC it? Any budget MoBo reccomendations for OC-ing it? Thanks

Yeah, I don't believe I will have enough for the 6500 build as I would have to sell my current PC (H81M P-33 etc.) but I have put an ad 20 days ago and lowered the price a bit and no one is buying it... Thanks for the suggestion, if I can up my budget somehow I'll probably get it. Still a MoBo suggestion would be appreciated as it's not sure will I buy it or not

Granted, I was a little harsh on the PSU. It's by no means terrible but it's by no means good either; average at best. I still wouldn't use it mind you.

If the 6500 is out of budget then I still recommend getting the i3-6100 instead. As you can see, the price isn't much different, and that's before you add another 8GB of RAM. Once you do that, the 4460 build becomes slightly more expensive.

Guys, I might have upped my budget by quite a bit, what if I get a 6600k? Of course I would OC it so what cooler and MoBo do you reccomend for that?

There are many Z170 boards, this is just one of the cheapest ones, but Asrock makes decent boards for good price/performance rate. Since you're on an overclocking build you will get extra performance out of faster DDR4 ram, such as these. The EVO cooler is a very good and well priced cooler, for better overclocking results you will want water cooling though.

Solution
The 6600K is great but it won't improve your frame rates or allow you to game at higher graphical settings. Overclocking is only really useful when the CPU begins to bottleneck the GPU, but an i5-6500 won't have that problem for a long time. Sandy Bridge is only just beginning to bottleneck high-end GPUs and those CPUs are five years old.
