Hello i have been slowly upgrading my pc and this is were im at.

CPU: Amd Athlon x4 750K (Stock)
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3
Ram: 8gb Hyper Fury
GPU: MSI GTX 960 4gb
PSU: Thermaltake Smat 550 (550w)
Case: Sentey GS-6000R
SSD: Kingston 240gb ssd now
HDD: Seagate 1tb 7200rpm

And I'm using a 900p monitor.

I wondering with the specs above were would be my frame rate be on a game like GTA V, or Far Cry 4. Would i be able to almost max GTA V?

First off, I would say that you should upgrade your CPU. Overclocking will improve it slightly but not much. I was in a similiar position to you. Wondering whether to upgrade to intel or keep with AMD. I am currently using The FX 8350 and an R9270x and It doesn't run much slower than my brother's Intel i7 4790k And GTX 770 and also the difference in FPS is not huge. So I couldn't really see the point in changing you motherboard and then spending a further £150< on a new processor. I would just stick with the idea of getting the 8350 as it is very good and I completely disagree with what was said above about it being rubbish for gaming.
Only if it is a Hyper212+ for a decent price (i.e. cheaper than the essentially similar Hyper212 EVO). Otherwise, choose from the list I linked so as not to waste money.
Overclock your Athlon, if only to get an idea of how much improvement you need, if any. If you want "Good," enjoyable settings, you may find it sufficient. Spending a lot more money won't be needed unless you want those UltraMaxOhWOW! settings.

If I was to change to any other CPU I would have to change my mobo anyway. Its a FM2 and a FX is AM3+ . The reason I was thinking on getting a 8350 its because its cheaper, but if its worth on paying a couple more buck for a i5 I will do it. I heard the FX is a great over clocker. But is the i5 better at over clocking. Or is all this overkill for 900p gaming, and should just stick with 750k for a little while until its too (outdated).

Since you have it, I think it is worth overclocking the 750K to see if it offers satisfactory performance. Game performance is more dependent on the graphics card anyway, and yours is excellent for 1600x900.

I don't see where anyone referenced the FX-8350 as being rubbish for gaming. As someone who has a FX-8320 and an i5-4690K, the latter is definitely the better performer.
