is this pc good for gaming?

So i'm going to upgrade my pc and get a good gaming pc here's my new pc specs:
Cpu:intel i7 4790k
Cpu cooler:cooler master hyper 103
Gpu:msi geforce gtx 970 gaming 4g edition
Ram:16gb
Mobo:msi z97s sli plus
Psu:cooler master v750 gold
Case:cooler master k380
Os:win 8.1 64 bit
And i have a 1080p 60hz monitor
Is this pc good for gaming?i'm going to play the latest games and i want to play them at max settings on 1080p at 40+fps...can this pc do it?is there's something incompatible?should i change something?how many years till i have to upgrade my pc again?
