I know it's good, because I spent a lot of time picking out the parts. But I really would like to know, is it optimized the best? Is there a part I should change so that it will run a little better or smoother with the rest of the PC?
Is there a part that is the same thing pretty much but cheaper? It's for gaming and video editing and recording. So multitasking some heavy stuff.
thanks

970 for $330 is not a good option with the cheaper RX480 releasing in a couple days. The PSU is a first gen NEX and not very good quality, there are better quality PSUs in that price range.

Added an SSD, faster cheaper ram, better quality PSU, cheaper cpu cooler that will well without the worries of an AIO.
Pickup a nice RX 480(starting price of $199 or $229) and is suppose to perform somewhere between a 970 and 980.
