Hello :)
I'm looking to purchase a new monitor that is 1080p, my current one is only 768p or something like that, not IPS. It's actually a 24'' tv. Anyway, I have come across this monitor: BenQ VZ2350HM. It is a 1080p 23'' IPS monitor, that is also visually appealing. I don't know much about monitors, or monitor specifications so I thought I would ask the pros. I can't seem to find any reviews on this particular monitor either. I can purchase is from pccasegear.com.au for $200 + postage. It would be great if somebody could give me their opinion on this monitor, or a another monitor AU$200 or below, cheers.

I've got one, and I'm happy with it. Great colour, excellent viewing angles, cheap, stylish - what more could you want?
Be aware though that the slim bezel claim is a bit deceptive. The LCD panel has a 1mm trim around it (very, very slim) but the panel itself has a ~5mm black border around the display, except at the bottom where it merges with the frame. Still, at 6mm it's slimmer than any other monitor I've owned or used, so big deal - not.
I'm a former professional photographer so I'm fussy about colour and contrast, but this thing displays very, very well - it's quite gorgeous.
My advice? Go for it. I doubt very much you'll regret it.
