nope....... for 1000 dollars i could get an i5 4690k and a gtx 970.

2600k is still strong but is 2nd gen too old
sli gtx 760 is as good as a gtx 970 but a single card is much better to prevent compatibility issues with games and it uses less power.

even with the overclock? I just want to be able to run 1080p 60FPS next gen games like the witcher 3.

Very true about Alienware being overpriced. I just want to run games like Witcher 3 at 1080p 60FPS

Edit: Actually this isn't as bad of a PC as most people are saying. The SSD and Ram alone are worth around $250. The i7 with the overclock is just about as good as a current gen i5 in gaming, and the GTX 760s aren't too bad either. This PC is probably worth $700-800

Never said it's a bad PC. Said it's an overpriced one.

You are better off spending 1000 in a new build. Old hardware might be like old cars can broke at any time and you have to empty your pockets to fix it then again its an old car and something else will break the next time.

as said that pc is still a beast and can pretty much max out any game you throw at it, but for that price range you could get something better. or get something with a same performance but less cost.
