Hi there fellow Techies.

I was pondering a new idea for my house, where I have a custom build i7 pc with 2 screens in one of the rooms. I was planning on putting a 42" TV on another wall in that same room. Would it be possible for me to use that as another display, over the network, in any way? I have a spare old pc (which won't do 1080p) and a server which probably would.

Yes but it'll still have to be hooked up to a computer that's on the network. Though transmission of data on LAN is still not efficient.
