i have a fourteen inch dell latitude and i just got into hulu plus. well my screen is kinda small so i use my parents old twenty three inch lcd monitor. is there a way hook it up to my monitor and close my laptop and still have it play on my monitor? I was thinking a docking station would be the way to go, but im not sure if i could close the lid without putting it to sleep.

go into your laptops power save settings. there should be a way to turn off "sleep mode when lid closed" if you do that then sure there shouldnt be any issues.
