is this power supply any good?

I have recently made some upgrades to my pc , I've bought graphics card gigabyte gtx 750 ti 2gb ddr5 and having core i7 with 4 gb rams and a motherboard B85-HD3 and when I bought the graphics card the guy told me I need atleast 650 watts to make it run smoothly and good I was just wondering is 650 watts enough for such pc? and is this power supply 650 watts http://i.imgur.com/BSNLMWD.jpg ?

i7-4770 = 84w
gtx 750ti = 60w
Other stuff: 150w max

total = 294w, or 24.5 amps. Your new PSU is rated for 40amps on the +12v rail (the important rail) so you should be more than fine as long as it can deliver what it says :)
In most cases when someone asks that question the answer is no. Looks like a no in your case as well.
Probably no ocp, ovp and very cheap caps. The guy who said you need 650 watts for the 750 Ti is talking rubbish, 400w will be enough.
 


This, your current power supply is prbably plenty for the 750ti and the new one you've pictured is probably poor.
 
The peak power dissipation of an i7 haswell on B85 and GTX750Ti combined, including the rest of the system is typically less than 200W.

Think QUALITY not QUANTITY here. A Seasonic G 360W would be a better choice than some no-name cheap-junk brand rated 1000W or more.

It would probably be fine. What i7 do you have, what is your current power supply and how much did this miracle PSU cost?
 
the one in the picture is the one I recently bought, having Blue light and a really big fan with some black things on the wires covering them uhm having I7-4770 @ 3.4ghz and Im in Egypt so it costs around 350 L.E (not expansive), 350 L.E = 50$

that's awesome, thanks and uhm I had a question about this gen games that is being released (advanced warfare and so on) what graphics could I play them with, having those specs? like medium or high or what?
 


The 750ti isn't a bad card at all. You will probably be able to play a mix of medium / high on most games at 1080p, with a couple of settings on low/off (like AA, tesselation, depth of field and other GPU heavy effects)
 


It can make a HUGE difference with the right (or the wrong) game. When you run out of working ram your FPS will go through the floor. An upgrade to 8gb ram should definitely be your next purchase
 


4gb ram is fine with a low end graphics card, but with a bigger card = higher resolution and higher details so it uses more resources. You may find that 4gb is just not enough for you now you have a 750 ti :)
 



On a B85 build, unless it's being re purposed as some sort of storage access point with big SATA controllers installed as add-on cards and a rack full of mechanical drives, there's really no practical way to pull more than ~50W from the category of "other stuff."

B85 chipset TDP: ~6W
RAM: ~2W per rank, often less with modern kits.
Fans: ~2W each.
Mechanical drives: ~5W each.
Voltage regulation losses throughout (including CPU VRMs, RAM VRMs, etc): ~15W
Sound/ethernet/superIO/USB/accessories etc are typically 1-2W each.

I'd be curious to know where you're coming up with the other ~100W or so in this category of "other stuff."
