Is this power supply good enough for the gtx 970(and the rest of my build

I have heard that for a gaming PC like the one i am trying to build takes over 650w so just to clarify; do i need a better power supply?

That thing is ripping you off, you can get this one for the same price for 100w more power if you need more power later. You can get the G2 for $10 more if you want higher quality.

Also, may I ask what this build is for? Just gaming or mostly editing and stuff like that? You could go with this build for a bit cheaper if you're going for gaming, everything is better than what was on it except for the CPU.

Well, if you can stretch your budget a bit, you can have every part perfect for your needs. Since you had that adapter on there, I assume you need one, the pro ac has one built in, so you won't have to install one if you want.
