Hi everyone, this is my first post, I've been doing some research on a new gaming pc. My budget is between 1000-1700 dollars. I don't feel comfortable building a desktop from scratch; my idea is to buy a prebuilt system and upgrade parts as needed. I've considered custom builds by sites like cyberpowerpc and others, but I've heard some horror stories about these custom builds. I found the digital storm virtue (http://www.digitalstormonline.com/virtue.asp), which starts at about 1500. Do you guys think the cheapest version of this is a good deal for a prebuilt system, or are there better options out there? Two other quick questions. First, at some point I might like to upgrade and get two video cards, but I read somewhere that the motherboard (ASUS Z87M-PLUS) doesn't support SLI, only crossfire. Is this true? Second, the 600w power supply seems pretty skimpy, especially if I decide to upgrade and get a second video card. Should I pay 130 extra for a 1050W Corsair Pro Silver 1050HX?

Here are the specs for the digital storm virtue:

- Intel Core i5 4570 CPU
- 8GB 1600MHz Memory
- NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB
- Corsair H60 Liquid Cooling
- 120GB Corsair Neutron GTX SSD
- 1TB 7200RPM Storage HDD
- ASUS Z87 Chipset Motherboard
- 600W Corsair CX Power Supply
- DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
- Case is a Corsair Obsidian Series 350D

Thanks in advance for the help!

Solution
From the ASUS web site for the Z87M-PLUS

Supports AMD Quad-GPU CrossFireX™ Technology

If the web site says it supports CrossFireX and does not mention SLI, then it supports CrossFireX and does not support SLI.
