ok so i used this program CpuID to check my processor after a pin broke off it. the processor is a Phenom ii x4 @3.2ghz and this is what i got

CLOCKS:
Core speed 800mhz
Multiplier x4.0
Bus Speed 200mhz
Ht Link 2000mhz

is this normal?
everything seems to be running fine and iv had no crashes or anything. but im wondering about the core clock

If the processor passes stability tests, then it's probably fine.

Most processors have some redundant pins--those used for power or electrical grounding, perhaps. Occasionally, a broken pin will not result in any malfunction. Consider yourself lucky.

Well the missing pin might become a issue in certain cases, but if its booting and running it looks like you are safe. So far thats 800MHz, as said before is just Cool'N'Quiet down clocking for lower temps and power usage.

I would keep an eye on it though. Any weird behavior or crashes could result in something worse.
