The cooler master B700 v2 is considered an entry level PSU, and is considered okay, if you're on a tight budget. What is the maximum you are willing to spend?

According to Tomshardware's PSU TIER list, the Corsair CX are tier three PSU:

Quote: Tier Three
Some Haswell compatible, some not (maybe unconfirmed). Still safe to use and stable, just lower quality components. Some capacitors maybe Japanese, but can include the Taiwanese capacitors. Not really ideal in serious overclocking or super-high load situations, such as a Bitcoin mining rig or a high end gaming system.

So it should be fine in your case.

Yes, thats a good choice. Its the same one that I have, and is a Tier 2 PSU. When I bought it I thought it was a tier 1 PSU, because the V series is also semi-modular 😛 but the v series has 700w and 1000w rating.

Tier two: As above, just slightly lower quality. Still safe to use and are all stable for any PC of today's standards, including Haswell C Stepping certification and 100% Japanese Capacitors. It is rare to find a PSU here with Taiwanese Capacitors and perform very well here, but they are here just in case. Meaning they are almost as good as the tier 1 PSUs, just slightly lower quality.

And as I said, the V and V semi-modular series are a little different because they don't use the same OEM. Other than that there is only a slight difference between the two though. the V700 being fully modular, which annoys me because it was on sale when I purchased the 750s. Would've been easier with cable-management. But nowadays the V700 costs 250 while the V750S costs 110, so the difference isn't really worth it in my opinion.
