Hello everyone
I'll try to make it quick.
I've recently bought an old dell optiplex 9010 mini tower system with i7 3770 16gb ram and 120gb ssd..
And im currently using gtx 1050 2gb(inno3d compact)
So im planning to upgrade it to gtx 1060 3gb or rx 570 4gb ...
But the main problem is that i have a 275 watt dell psu ...
So can i use any of these gpus with that psu or have to upgrade it?..i have seen linus using gtx 1660 ti and gtx 1650 super using molex to sata connector..in dell optiplex 9010 mt..
The cards are as follows:

Cards:

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/his-rx-570-iceq-x2-oc.b4476

Another question for rx 570 is that ...is it going to fit inside my case?
Is molex to sata connector safe for long term use?
Let me know thanks ..

Keep in mind that a "standard" PSU is not going to work inside that Dell without adapters (in most cases). The motherboards for those generally don't have the same connectors as what is industry standard. HP often does this as well.

Good catch . . yeah, that Optiplex, it's going to be important to know whether it's got the normal 24-pin main connector on the motherboard, or if it's got that wacky, 8-pin (I think?) Dell proprietary MB connector.

It's a 3rd gen Intel, so I think that it should have a standard ATX type connector, but I'm not 100% certain on that. Take a careful look, and, if possible, post a pic of that motherboard's main power connector.

I checked this psu just by booting to windows and it worked fine...all required connectors are available to make it work + 2x 8pin connectors(6+2) ...
So the main concern is...im going to buy HIS rx 570 today ..so is it going to work safely?

As long as it lasts. Terrible quality and lack of essential protections.

I see a dirty fangril on the PSU. You bought it used?
Yes it was used but they said its gonna be fine...im not sure what to do now ..
I had no option because my budget was too tight because of the gpu.. and the prices of new PSUs are way more than half the price of rx 570s so had to buy it used ...

Ok, so, looks like standard motherboard connectors, which is good.

Honestly, I think I'd be far more comfortable with the Dell PSU that has "max output 500W" on it than I would be with the PowerStation PSU.

I have been testing the 570 ...so far so good the temps are good mostly below 75° when gaming and reaching max 81° in furmark in about 5 mins...and the wattage of the gpu is about 60-95w all the time... Sometimes 100+ and 118w max on furmark ...
The PSU was making noise(really hard to hear, had to put my face to the case lol)when i first installed the card and used it but now it seems to be fine ..plus its not really getting so hot..just a little bit warmer (psu)
