Asus hd 7970 3gb
Gigabyte GA970A mainboard
Is 850watts cooler master silent pro good enough for it?
I want to order it.

I am running a 8350 @ 4.5 with a 7950 overclocked all I have is a 700 watt, you are good to go

That is MORE than enough power. Note though, that the psu you have selected is considered a tier 3 PSU, which means it is in a group of "Power supplies fully able to meet ATX specs, although closer to the edges of the limits than higher tier units. Still solid units"

yep, disable core parking and its even better.. stupid windows, only thing is i will need better cooling for my overclocking addiction lol my closed loop isn't good enough

im getting 60 with vsync on avg, lowest I have seen using fraps is 34 so you should get more than I do

anytime, make sure to disable core parking, it helps you will have to look it up there is a video on it and a step by step instruction write up on the net

lol windows disables cores randomly so it slows it down.... boo to windows hense the name core parking
