Is this PSU enough?

I reserved a PSU for myself as it was 60% off (Black Friday) but I'm wondering if it will be enough to run my PC? It's a 500W Antec PSU.

Specs:

CPU: i3 8100
Mobo: MSI H310M PRO-VH
GPU: R9 280X
Storage: 1tb Western Digital HDD
RAM: 1x8gb DDR4

I currently have it running on a 350W PSU (with the GPU unplugged) and just want a PSU that is powerful enough to power my PC for casual all-day gaming and video editing.

Please let me know,
Thanks!

With the R9 plugged in, that build will draw around 350w-400w from the wall. While the wattage is enough, the Antec Basiq/Earthwatts Green is a mediocre unit which is not highly recommended. The PSU is one of the most crucial hardware which should not be cheaped out, and the whole point of a good quality unit is reliability. That Antec should be the last option for you.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll definitely get a Corsair or Coolermaster in that case.
So 500W is fine for this build, right?

Yes, but there are hardly any good quality 500w units. The only one I can recollect is BeQuiet PurePower10. Most of the good quality units are either in 450w or 550w around that wattage range. The R9 cards run a bit hot. So, get a good quality 550w to be safe.
