My system specs:
i5 2500
Sapphire R9 380x NITRO
8Gb DDR3 RAM
1.5Tb SATA 3 7200rpm

PSU that I have is this one (it's 5 years old, but it has been working under extremely low conditions):

Will it be strong enough for this build, or do I need to buy a new one ? Am I risking it to fail ? And if it fails, what would happen, would the PC just shut down or would it damage some of the components ?

Hyper 600w.

The P50-GA is on the Lemon List and doesn't even have Bronze certification.
Although the unit delivers 500W its efficiency rating is very low. Don't trust it.
Get yourself a gold certified unit of the same Wattage from Seasonic or EVGA, They are excellent quality and well worth the investment.
