Is a used cx550m PSU good enough for a new build with a gtx 1060 6gb and ryzen 5 2600 and 500gb ssd and 16gb ddr 4 3000mhz ram https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP...12&hvtargid=pla-385849504540&psc=1&th=1&psc=1
I did not buy the PSU second-hand, i bought it myself new in a shop, the PSU seems to be working amazingly. As long as the PSU hasn't been damaged and is still under warranty, it is a good PSU that is capable of powering that system. If it isn't under warranty, then any unexpected catastrophic failure that could damage the rest of your system would not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. You would have to check if the manufacturer's warranty is even transferable to a second-hand buyer.
Even if it has already been used for 2 years? That psu is pretty good and can happily handle your system.
Yes, those PSUs have a 5 year warranty.Even if it has already been used for 2 years?
