Is the Xilence ATX2.3 PSU 500W XN052 PSU good for a gtx 1070 ti? I have a Cooler Master masterwatt 500 lite but its faulty and doesn't boot. I heard that I should get at least a 80+ bronze certified but I'm kinda running low

Solution
Xilence Redwing 500W (XN052) is crap quality PSU and it's even worse than your CM Masterwatt Lite (500W) which is low quality PSU,
specs: https://www.xilence.net/en/power-supplies/23

For 180W GTX 1070 Ti, i won't look anything short of good quality PSU and 600W range unit. Here, i suggest getting any Seasonic unit, in 600W range. E.g G-650, Focus+ 650 80+ Gold, PRIME 650 80+ Platinum or PRIME 650 80+ Titanium,
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/R7V48d,nn648d,pHFXsY,WrNypg/

You'll get 5 years of OEM warranty with G series PSU, 10 years of OEM warranty with Focus+ series PSU and 12 years of OEM warranty with PRIME series PSUs.

Also, PRIME 650 80+ Titanium is the best 650W PSU money can buy at current date and with it...
That PSU is not good.

80+ ratings mean very little when it comes to quality.

PSUs differ widely in quality and performance. Refer to this list for a general idea of what PSUs you can look for, Tiers 1-3 are typically recommended for gaming systems, especially if you're wanting to use a higher-tier card like the GTX 1070 Ti.

Fully modular cables and toggle-able Premium Hybrid fan control too.

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic while i have the PRIME 650 80+ Titanium unit in Skylake build. Full specs with pics in my sig.

You can cheap out on every other component inside the PC except PSU. Since PSU powers everything, it is the most important component inside the PC. Also, while the PSU warranty covers the PSU itself and you can RMA the blown PSU, the PSU warranty doesn't cover any other component the PSU fried.

Most people learn the hard way not to cheap out on a PSU when low quality PSU blows and takes part of it or the whole system with it. Even entire houses have been burned down because of the fire low quality PSU caused when it blowed up.

Like it or not, if you want your PC to work for years to come without any risk of fire and/or damage to your components, you need to hand out some money for good quality PSU. I'm not talking that you need to go with the best PSU available, e.g Seasonic PRIME Titanium which costs $150. Seasonic G-650 i linked above costs $72 and is more than enough for your PC, both wattage and build quality wise.

However, if you go with your "budget" Xilence Redwing PSU, please, do record a video when your cheap PSU blows up since i like to see some good fireworks. Just like seen in here,

If you still think "budget" PSU is best for your PC, i'll be waiting a video from you with good fireworks.
