what kind of parts can handle?

The PSU size only matters if there is not enough power to run the system !! - having too big of a PSU will only result in the PSU not being used to full capacity (they will only draw as much power as is needed for the system.) - so you have nothing to worry about there.

The power supply is not too strong for your system. It is ok!

A good 650 watt power supply can handle an Intel Core i7 system with two ATI Radeon HD 5770 video cards operating in Crossfire mode.
