[SOLVED] Is this RAM a good candidate for overclocking?

Is the RAM below a good candidate for overclocking? I'm not sure I understand b-die and e-die - just learning:

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC

• DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800)
• Timing 16-19-19-39
• CAS Latency 16
• Voltage 1.35V

Building a new computer but will have a x570 motherboard and 5900x CPU.

I'm planning on trying to OC both, but posted here under memory for info on the RAM, hoping to get it to 3800.

I'd not, not until there's documentation on the ram vs IF. 3000 series cpus run a 1:1 ratio in the Infinity Fabric settings upto 3733MHz. After that, things get funky and switch to a 2:1 ratio, which hurts performance. From what I understand, this has not been changed in the 5000 series cpus.

So unless you are planning to seriously get into the mclock/uclock settings for infinity fabric and tailor them for a stable 3800MHz (shouldn't be an issue on that ram) which doesn't end up hurting performance, then you'd be better off using Dram Calculator and getting the most out of the 3600MHz instead.
