Question Is this RAM a good match?

About to build a 3700X based system; MB will probably be Gigabyte Aorus Elite.

Is this a good choice?

Page 6 of manual for Gigabyte Aorus Elite here says "Support for DDR4 2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules". Highest speed modules on the QVL list for that board here are 3200Mhz kits.

Not 100% but that RAM might not work at 3600Mhz on that board and would run at the maximum the board supports.

Ram should boot ok.

Might not be able to get 3600, but you likely can.

I think that 3600 kit is a good kit for your purpose.

As with all faster kits, getting it to run at fast speeds is luck.

Thanks for the replies; I should note that I do not plan on overclocking the CPU, maybe memory a little...depending on overall stability.

I am assuming that the same RAM would work fine with a 3900X.....
