[SOLVED] Is this RAM compatible/useful?

My wife currently has a MSI MEG Z490 ACE ATX LGA1200 Motherboard with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory. For XMAS someone got her 8 GBx2 XPG Z1 3000mhx memory. Is this even compatible or worth putting in? I read all RAM will be slowed to the slowest RAM installed. But will the extra 16gb work and provide a benefit?

Mixing memory can produce undesirable results.

Going from 32GB to 48GB of memory would not increase performance for most uses.

Nothing to be gained here.
