Is this ram compatible with my MB? No display when booting.

So Im having a black screen everytime i boot i try to boot. Sometimes i get display for a few secs/mins but i havent been able to as of now.

Motherboard is a Motherboard MSI H81M-E33

Ram is G.SKILL NT 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600MHz CL11

This should work with this motherboard but im still having issues.

That ram should work and likely isnt the issue.if ram wasn't compatible you wouldnt ever get a display. Try clearing the CMOS.

Any guides to do this without damaging anything? Ive looked up guides but nothing for my MB

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/680373/Msi-H81m-P33-Series.html?page=14 Basically look for the 2 pins labeled JBatt1 and bridge them with a screwdriver with the system powered off but turned off. This is how you do it on newer boards, however, your board may differ.

Are you sure it's seated properly in the slot?
