I'm using Gigabyte H61M-S1 Mobo.. Would that work ?

But to be certain go to the Kingston ram selection app.
Enter your motherboard and you will get a list of supported kits.

Not offically, no. Support for DDR3 2200(OC)/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules only. It might work, possibly but you would be taking a risk that it likely doesn't.

It should work just fine alone in your system. The bigger problem is the question of will it play nice with any other DDR3 memory you have in your system.

I have Corsair Ram 4GBx2 1600Mhz. Even though my mobo doesn't support 1600Mhz, the ram runs at 1600Mhz. I want to upgrade my ram to 12GB, so selling those sticks and getting a single 8GB stick for further upgrade. So i doubt whether this set would work or not
