Cpu- ryzen 5 3550h
Gpu- GTX 1650
Now the ram
It came with 2666mhz 8gb ram (slot 1)

So as it's a Ryzen cpu I thought to make it dual channel

So I bought this ram A data XPG fire 2666mhz CL18 8gb.(slot 2)

**I want to know if this pair good ..?

**Will the performance (game fps ) same as if iam using an identical ram as the pre-existing one (slot 1) ..?

Solution
The timings differ from each other. It is not a good pair.
When buying extra ram, always buy the same kit. Never buy a different stick.

Though it works, this setup ain’t optimal.
Running 2 different memory modules is never a good idea.
Buying a kit (8GB+8GB) would be optimal.
